I don't know why some people have reported issues with Bona Hardwood Floor Polish - I have now used this quality product in three different homes on very old and relatively new oak floors and find it works perfectly. After letting the BD cleanser dry, I apply the Bona Polish. I've used both the glossy top and the glossy bottom, both work great, but I'm leaning towards the glossy top a bit, which isn't glassy, ​​but more of a satiny gloss. The best way is to add a second coat and I also use the Bona product a few times a year to keep the floors looking great. Yes, there are "accidents" but the Bona product seems to hold up to puddles etc without marks.

I thought I was looking for a polisher for my 4 year old red oak hardwood floors. One of the floor company reps read the product label with me and told me that based on what the label says and your following application instructions, it wouldn't have had to happen. I asked two other floor experts to provide a quote for the fix, they made an appointment to visit, but based on my description of the problem, they estimate the amount at $3,000. I clicked on the professional tab on their site - and instead of any directions, they list the names of flooring experts in the area, including one I had already called and received a quote to fix . I have now been on my hands and knees to mop my floors at least 4 times - to get the mist off - no luck. It looks like the Bono product removed the polyurethane from my floors as they are still hazy and streaky. I am a clueless consumer and wish I had found this site before I took this trip with this Bono Hardwood Floor Polish.
